Darin and Brooke Aldridge continue to reach new heights in music while maintaining an easy-going, down-to-earth connection with audiences worldwide. Brooke is a four-time IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year, and Darin -  a former member of The Country Gentlemen - is an acclaimed singer, multi-instrumentalist, and former IBMA Mentor of the Year. The duo has earned numerous nominations from the IBMA, SPBGMA, the GMA Dove Awards, and the Inspirational Country Music Association. In April 2023, they were named Absolutely Gospel Music’s “Bluegrass Artists of the Year,” and the IBMA and GMA both recognized their hit “Jordan” (featuring Ricky Skaggs, Mo Pitney, and Mark Fain) with major nominations.

 

Hailing from North Carolina, Darin and Brooke have enjoyed top positions on Billboard, SiriusXM, Bluegrass Today, Bluegrass Unlimited, Americana/Roots, and gospel charts. Their videos have aired on CMT, CMT Edge, GAC, Bluegrass Ridge TV, and The Bluegrass Situation. Television highlights include PBS’ Mountain Stage, Songs of the Mountain, and Music City Roots; RFD-TV’s Larry’s Country Diner, Country’s Family Reunion, and The Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour; Great American Gospel; The Bluegrass Road; and Blue Highways TV. They have appeared on the Grand Ole Opry stage more than 50 times.

 

A standout from their 2021 release This Life We’re Livin’  was the gospel rousing “He’s Getting Me Ready,” featuring The Oak Ridge Boys, which spent a record-setting five months at No. 1 on The Singing News gospel chart.

 

“We want our music to lift people up,” Brooke says. “It was one of our early goals to put a positive message out there,” Darin adds, “and we decided a long, long time ago that we were going to be us, no matter what.”
