JESSE AND NOAH
Brothers Jesse and Noah Bellamy, sons of David Bellamy of the Bellamy Brothers, hail from Darby, Florida, and have called Nashville home since 2002. Their sound blends country, blues-rock, pop, and Americana - shaped early on by their grandmother, who took them to Fan Fair in 1984, and by their father and Uncle Howard, who introduced them to a wide range of music. “Everything we have listened to over the years influences the music we make today,” Noah says.
The duo has released five albums - Nowhere Revisited (2006), Landfall (2010), Driven Back (2012), and Brethern (2015)—and an EP, Leave Love Alone (2024). Their new album, The Sunshine Shop, is due at the end of May, with the first single, Noah-written “I Told A Lie,” released January 30. Previous singles include “Leave Love Alone,” “Crown Victoria,” “Too Much,” “Vision,” and “You Could Have Had It All.” Their single “This Town Was Built On Heartbreak Songs” received CMT airplay and featured cameos from Tanya Tucker, T.G. Sheppard, Ronnie McDowell, Deborah Allen, and David and Howard Bellamy. In 2007, the Country Music Association included them on its “Who's To Watch” list.
Jesse and Noah attract fans across the U.S. and around the world. “Our fans are a diverse group, and they connect with those same elements that people who connect to roots music enjoy,” Noah says. “The country influence is always there, but we’re not always aiming at that. We look at our music as more about letting the influences come out when we are recording. The song kind of takes us where it wants to go.”
