When Dave Sauve’s family moved to Iroquois Falls, Ontario, he met Sabrina—his neighbor across the avenue—and their story took off from there. They fell in love young, became high school sweethearts, and built a life together. Today, still rooted in Ontario’s true north, they’re turning those small-town beginnings into big momentum as country duo Rosewood Ave.

Live performance has always been their heartbeat, but when the pandemic shut stages down, they pivoted to livestreaming—and got discovered. Country Rebel championed their videos, driving more than 3 million views and putting them on the radar of legendary Nashville producer Garth Fundis (Trisha Yearwood, Sugarland, Keith Whitley). A run of Fundis-produced singles followed, including “Fool for Love” and “Broke,” alongside features from The Country Network’s The Next Big Twang, SiriusXM’s Top of the Country, and Amazon Editorial Breakthrough Country.

In 2023, Rosewood Ave earned a CMA Ontario nomination for Group or Duo of the Year and won CBC Searchlight’s Most Outstanding Country Artist from thousands of submissions. Their single “I Won’t” landed Spotify editorial playlist support, major features like SiriusXM Top of the Country Emerging Artist and Acadia Broadcasting Breakout Artist, and cracked the Top 100 on Canadian country radio.

Next came “Talk About Us,” produced by Juno and CCMA award-winner Bart McKay—earning them their third CMA Ontario Group or Duo nomination. McKay also produced their latest release on Willow Sounds/Navigator Records, “Leavin’ Town,” a heartfelt small-town love story about choosing what matters most when the road is calling. As Sabrina and Dave put it: “We’re small-town kids from northern Ontario… Even when we leave, we carry a piece of home with us.”
